Daily routine

You are served a nutritious and varied breakfast buffet every day, after which you make your own packed lunch (sandwiches, fruit and something to drink). You usually leave the ship between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. While the ship sails to the next harbor, you set off on your cycle ride, over mostly quiet paths and lanes and past all the interesting sights. Daily cycling The daily cycling distance varies – depending on your trip – from around 25 to 60 kilometers. Every day you will have lots of time to…

What does my cabin look like

All the cabins (your hotel room aboard) have their own private bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin. Double cabins nearly always have two single (low) beds; a few cabins have a double bed and some cabins have bunk beds. Single cabins and cabins for three or four people, as well as the cabins on the upper deck, are not always available. Availability depends on your travel area and the type of ship. We can inform you about availability on request. Please note, that the cabins for three or four…

What about meals and drinks

Our chefs are used to cook delicious meals for hungry cyclists. Each morning an extensive breakfast is served and you can make a packed lunch during breakfast, to take with you. Of course you can also decide to have lunch at a restaurant, if there is enough time during your cycling day. In the evening you can enjoy a three-course dinner. On our Premium tours, there’s one night dinner will not be served on board. Then you can go in town to find out what the local restaurants have to…

Dietary wishes

If you have special dietary wishes (vegetarian meals, lactose or gluten-free diet), then please indicate this when making your reservation. Vegetarian meals are always available, in all other cases we will check the possibilities for your selected trip. In some cases additional cost will be charged. This mainly applies to lactose or gluten-free meals. Unfortunately we cannot offer vegan meals. This is because the kitchens in our ships are not large enough to guarantee that the food can be prepared completely vegan. The available space on board is limited, so…

Internet aboard the ship

All ships on the ‘own tours’ of Eurosail Travel have an internet connection on board and offer Wi-Fi for guests. Please be aware that in all cases it is an internet connection via the mobile (cell-phone) network and might be slower than a cable network that you may have at home. Use of Wi-Fi on board comes in various packages Some ships offer free limited data packages (usually 100 Mb per device per day); additional data packages can be purchased online (you will need a credit card). Other ships offer…

Smoking aboard

As a safety measure, a statutory smoking ban applies in all cabins; this means that all cabins and rooms on board are no-smoking zones. The interior of all ships – such as the restaurant, lounge or salon and bar – is a no-smoking area. Smoking is only allowed on the sun deck. On some ships smoking is not allowed at all, not even on deck. On other vessels you’ll find a special smoking area.
