Own bike

Please let us know if you would like to bring your own bike, so we can reserve a space for you on board. Not all ships are suitable or spacious enough for extra bicycles, so make sure you check this with us. In case you can’t or don’t want to bring your own bicycle, it’s important to fill in your rental preferences while booking. In this case, we can offer you a set of wheels suited to your height.

Our bikes

Most of our ships have their own solid, steady and comfortable bicycles on board, and there are also a few e-bikes available. When a ship doesn’t have bikes, we rent them. If you want to bring your own bike, it’s important to let us know so we can reserve a space on deck. Please check with us whether or not this is possible before booking your holiday. Please note: the owner of the ship, crew, tour leader or Eurosail Travel cannot be held responsible for any damage to, loss or theft of your bicycle.

Available sizes

In general, rental bicycles are available for persons taller than approx. 150 cm (4.9 ft.); rental e-bikes are available for persons taller than 155 cm (5.1 ft.). On request (this may vary per ship), smaller (children) bicycles are available; smaller e-bikes, however, are NOT available. Inseam In all cases your inseam (length of your leg) is decisive: when we know your inseam, we can check whether a well-fitting bicycle or e-bike is available for the ship on which you will stay. By ‘well-fitting’ we mean that your inseam matches the…
