As a result of EU Directive 2015/2302 a tour operator is obliged to take the necessary legally
prescribed measures to ensure that, should the operator, for reasons of monetary incapacity or
insolvency, fail to fulfil or cannot continue to fulfil their obligations towards the customer, either
these obligations are transferred to a third party or the price of the cruise is repaid or, if the cruise
has partially taken place, a proportional part of the price is repaid. Where applicable, the operator
shall also take care of the repatriation of the customer and guests. Eurosail Travel / Channel Cruises

website are covered by SGR’s guarantee, within the terms of the SGR guarantee scheme. Under
SGR’s guarantee, consumers shall have their prepaid travel sum refunded if Channel Cruises Holland
is unable to fulfil its contractual obligations due to financial inability. Insofar as the agreement
includes the transport and the destination has already been reached, the return trip will be arranged.
